Brasilia’s Climate

Brazil is mainly tropical , however Brasilia’s weather tends to be dry and pleasant, largely due to it being on the Brazilian central plateau.

There are few extremes in temperature or weather conditions , making it a good destination to visit year-round.
Summer can get hot, but is to be expected.
Weather
Essentially, Brasília’s climate is tropical, but because the city is on the central plateau, it tends to be hot and very dry. There are few climate extremes - temperatures genrally hover around the mid to high 20°s Celcius (80°s Fahrenheit). September and October are the city’s warmest months.

The average minimum and maximum temperatures are about 57° F (14° C) and 81° F (27° C), respectively.
Rainfall averages some 60 inches (1,600 mm) per year with a dry season from March to October, and humidity is generally between 40 and 80 percent (it fell to 11 percent during a drought in 1994).
